Question: To ask the President of the Council, what recent representations she has received about the Government's policies to combat the misuse of drugs. (Failed OPQ).

Answer: Mr. Bayley: To ask the President of the Council what recent representations she has received about the Government's policies to combat the misuse of drugs. [31442] Mrs. Ann Taylor: I regularly receive correspondence on this issue from Members of Parliament and their constituents, and have also heard views from members of the public during recent engagements around the country. In addition, Keith Hellawell--the UK Anti-Drugs Coordinator--has coordinated an extensive consultation process to inform his proposals for a new anti-drugs strategy.
