To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if Kingston Prison is to be included in the initiative to instal televisions in prisoners' cells.
Answer

Mr. Swayne: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if Kingston Prison is to be included in the initiative to install televisions in prisoners' cells; and if he will make a statement. [60791] Mr. George Howarth: All prison establishments in England and Wales are included in the initiative and will in due course provide in-cell television as an earned privilege. Installation of in-cell televisions will take place on a rolling basis over an initial three year period. Kingston is not included in the 80 establishments installing in-cell television this financial year.
