To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, which adult prisons were used for the remand of people aged 17 to 20 years on (a) 1st May 1997 and (b) the latest date for which such information is available; how many people aged 17 to 20 years were held on remand in adult prisons on (a) 1st May 1997 and (b) the latest date for which such information is available. - Table given.
