- To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the Answer to the Right honourable Member for Folkestone and Hythe, of 16th July 1998, 316 c248-9W, if he is able to provide details of the assessment of samples taken from Iraqi warheads undertaken in France and Switzerland.

Mr. Llew Smith: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the answer to the right hon. and learned Member for Folkestone and Hythe (Mr. Howard), of 16 July 1998, Official Report, columns 248-49, if he is able to provide details of the assessment of samples taken from Iraqi warheads undertaken in France and Switzerland. [55452] Mr. Tony Lloyd: The UN Special Commission has now received the final reports on the analyses of the Iraqi missile warhead fragments carried out in France and Switzerland. The results will be reviewed at a seminar of international experts in New York on 22 and 23 October, after which UNSCOM will report to the Security Council.
