Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, pursuant to his predecessor's letter of 27th May, what was the result of the review by the Manned Space Programme Board and the International Relations Committee of ESA of the policy and financial implications of changes to the International Space Station schedule.

Answer: Mr. Dalyell: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, pursuant to his predecessor's letter of 27 May, what was the result of the review by the Manned Space Programme Board and the International Relations Committee of ESA of the policy and financial implications of changes to the International Space Station schedule. [54056] Mr. Battle: The Manned Space Board and the International Relations Committee of ESA are continuing to keep these issues under review. There have been no developments affecting the UK since the letter by the then President of the Board of Trade, now President of the Council, of 27 May 1998.
