- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many places were available for the rehabilitation from illegal drugs of offenders aged 15 to 21 years whose offending is linked to drugs and who are considered to be in need of treatment by the courts or criminal justice agencies (a) on 1st May 1997 and (b) at the latest available date. - Includes fact that not held centrally.

Mr. Clappison: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many places were available for the rehabilitation from illegal drugs of offenders aged 15 to 21 years whose offending is linked to drugs and who are considered to be in need of treatment by the courts or criminal justice agencies (a) on 1 May 1997 and (b) at the latest available date. [47066] Mr. George Howarth: This information is not held centrally. In general, places in rehabilitation units are not reserved for specific categories of patients, such as those referred by the courts.
