Answer: Mr. Robert McCartney: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many British civil servants and at what grades are attached to the Anglo-Irish Secretariat at Maryfield. [31313] Marjorie Mowlam: [holding answer 26 February 1998]: Fourteen members of the Home and the Northern Ireland Civil Services are currently employed on the British Side of the Anglo-Irish Secretariat, comprising one member of the Senior Civil Service, three managerial grades, four secretarial and administrative grades and six support grade staff.
