- To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, which grant maintained schools have received extra funding from the FAS for urgent repairs since 1st May 1997; and in each case how much; and what total sum the FAS has distributed to grant maintained schools since 1 May 1997; and how many grant maintained schools have received extra funding since 1 May 1997; and how much extra funding has been provided per pupil to (a) grant maintained schools and (b) maintained schools in the (i) primary and (ii) secondary sectors, since 1 May 1997. - Inc fig and ref to the Education (Grant-maintained and Grant-maintained Special Schools) (Finance) Regulations 1997; and fact that have written to Chairman of the FAS, to provide figs requested.
