- To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, if he will list the number of admissions by specialty to acute beds in the Lothian Health area in (a) 1989-90 and (b) 1995-96; and the projected number of such admissions in 2002-2003; and if he will list by specialty the number of acute beds in the Lothian Health area (a) projected for 2002-2003 and (b) in (i) 1989-90 and (ii) 1995-96; and what was the throughput by specialty for acute beds in the Lothian Health area in (a) 1989-90 and (b) 1995-96; and what is the projected throughput for such beds in 2002-2003. - Inc ref to tables (in Library Dep 3/5970).
