To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will bring forward legislation to incorporate the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their destruction into domestic law.

Ann Clwyd: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will bring forward legislation to incorporate the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their destruction into domestic law. [22492] Mr. Fatchett: We intend to introduce legislation as soon as the Parliamentary timetable allows.
