To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, if he will estimate the expenditure on football ground improvements involving grant and loan aid from the Football Trust in each year from 1988, broken down by ground. - Inc figures and fact that decisions by the Trust on payments in Library.

Mr. Alasdair Morgan: To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport if he will estimate the expenditure on football ground improvements involving grant and loan aid from the Football Trust in each year from 1988, broken down by ground. [103756] Kate Hoey: £250 million of grant aid has been awarded to clubs for ground development projects since the Government began to contribute to funding of the Football Trust in 1990 through a reduction in pool duty. The decisions by the Trust on payments have been placed in both Libraries of the House since that date. Information on Trust grant payments from 1988-90 are available from the Trust itself.
