Mr. Baker: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make it his policy to repeal section 24 of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986. [99122] Mr. Mike O'Brien: Under the proposals for the Freedom of Information Bill, we will review all statutory bars on the disclosure of information, including section 24 of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986. No decision has yet been taken on whether to repeal or amend section 24.
