To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what plans he has to reform cross media ownership rules; and if he will make a statement; what plans he has to reform the regulation of independent television; and if he will make a statement; what plans he has to reform the role of the Broadcasting Standards Commission; and if he will make a statement. - Inc fact that Communications White Paper to be published tomorrow.

[141532] Mr. Chris Smith: The Government's plans for the future framework for and regulation of broadcasting and telecommunications will be considered in a Communications White Paper, which I expect to be published tomorrow.
