Mr. Peter Ainsworth: To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what plans he has to enable English Heritage to undertake projects on behalf of overseas clients. [141537] Mr. Chris Smith: The Government are seeking the earliest suitable legislative opportunity to give English Heritage powers to enable them to undertake projects on behalf of overseas clients. This will enable EH to generate additional income and may well create export opportunities for other suppliers and contractors in the heritage field.
