Miss McIntosh: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what permanent derogations have been granted to the National Grid Company; and at what locations. [123434] Mrs. Liddell: Ofgem has issued derogations to the National Grid Company and other system users relating to security standards and the technical rules for connection to the system. Derogations are not permanent as they can be amended or revoked at any time.
