Dr. Tonge: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if she will make a statement on the recent decision by Balfour Beatty to withdraw from the Ilisu Dam project. [17337] Ms Hewitt: The decision taken by Balfour Beatty to withdraw from the Ilisu project was entirely a commercial decision and not a matter for Government.
