Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how soon he would be able to bring forward legislation to legalise cannabis following a recommendation to that effect arising from current trials; when he expects to receive the findings of phase three of the clinical trials of the therapeutic properties of cannabis. - Includes ref to HL 151 1997/98 and HL 50 2000/01 in Library. (Holding answer 26 October 2001).
