To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions, what assessment he has made of the progress made by Nottinghamshire County Council regarding their plans for the A612 public transport corridor.

Vernon Coaker: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions what assessment he has made of the progress made by Nottinghamshire county council regarding their plans for the A612 public transport corridor. [4553] Ms Keeble: I understand that Nottinghamshire county council intends to submit a bid for an A612 public transport scheme to the Department at the end of July. Following receipt a full assessment will be carried out before a decision is announced in December.
