To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions, when he expects to publish the consultation paper on private hire vehicles under the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998.
Answer

Dr. Tonge: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions when he expects to publish the consultation paper on private hire vehicles under the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998. [3392] Mr. Jamieson: It will be for Transport for London to publish a consultation paper on proposals for licensing private hire vehicles in London.
