To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, if he will make representations to the Council of Ministers to press Spain to recognise Gibraltar's international dialing code; if he will take action to stop the Spanish Government instructing Spanish mobile telephone companies not to sign roving agreements with the Gibraltar mobile telephone companies. - Ref to 11 May 2001 at 368 c453-4W.

Mr. McWilliam: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) if he will make representations to the Council of Ministers to press Spain to recognise Gibraltar's international dialling code; [161038] (2) if he will take action to stop the Spanish Government instructing Spanish mobile telephone companies not to sign roving agreements with the Gibraltar mobile telephone companies.
