To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if he will make a statement about his plans to provide additional secure training places; and when he estimates the places will become available for use. - Includes figure.

Mr. Bercow: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement about his plans to provide additional secure training places; and when he estimates the places will become available for use. [151] Ms Beverley Hughes: The Youth Justice Board for England and Wales commissions and purchases secure accommodation for remanded and sentenced young people. Over the next four years the Youth Justice Board plans to purchase an additional 400 independent sector Secure Training Centre (STC) places to replace Prison Service accommodation.
