- To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, how much his Department has spent on research on rabbits in each year since 1969; and how many research projects have been funded in that period. - P Including figures and ref to 18 June 1998, 314 c324W and fact that details for period prior to 1991-92 obtained only at disproportionate cost.

Mr. Maclean: To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how much his Department has spent on research on rabbits in each year since 1969; and how many research projects have been funded in that period. [75630] Mr. Rooker: Information on expenditure on rabbit research from 1991-92 to 1998-99 was provided by my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary on 18 June 1998, Official Report, column 324. The estimate provided in that answer for 1998-99 has been revised to £572,000. Details for the period prior to 1991-92 could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
