Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will make a statement on the investigation into the murder of Brigadier Stephen Saunders, former defence attache to Greece.

Answer: Mr. Paul Marsden: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the investigation into the murder of Brigadier Stephen Saunders, former defence attache to Greece. [157597] Mr. Battle: A team of Metropolitan police officers continues to work closely with the Hellenic National police in Athens on the investigation into the murder of Brigadier Saunders. Operational details of the investigation must remain confidential but we, and the Greek Government, remain committed to bringing Brigadier Saunders' murderers to justice.
