Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, if he will list the contracts that exist between SERCO and the Department, its executive agencies and associated public bodies; and if he will list those which have existed in the last three years. - Includes fact that there are no contracts in existence between SERCo and the Dept.

Mrs. Dunwoody: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment if he will list the contracts that exist between SERCo and the Department, its executive agencies and associated public bodies; and if he will list those which have existed in the last three years. [151352] Mr. Wills: There are currently no contracts in existence between SERCo and the Department, its executive agencies and associated public bodies. Contracts which have existed in the last three years are listed as follows: From 1 April 1994 to 31 July 1999--a contract existed for facilities management services for the Department's Head Office site in Runcorn, which was formerly part of the Employment Department estate. From 1 April 1994 and 30 September 1998--a contract existed for facilities management services for the Department's Head Office site in London, which was formerly part of the Employment Department estate.
