- To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many NHS patients treated for (a) a hip replacement, (b) a knee replacement and (c) a hip fracture contracted a deep vein thrombosis in each of the last five years; how many orthopaedic departments in the NHS have venous thromboembolism prevention protocols; how many (a) knee and (b) hip replacements were performed in the NHS in each of the last five years; and how many hip fractures were treated in the NHS in each of those years. - Inc tables.
