Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, how many licence applications for the export of furnaces to Iran have been made in each year since 1997; how many applications have been granted; how many and what value of furnaces have been exported to Iran in each year; what undertakings were sought about end-use; and what end-use monitoring has been undertaken. - Includes fact that place a copy of the letter in Library.

Answer: Mr. Berry: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many licence applications for the export of furnaces to Iran have been made in each year since 1997; how many applications have been granted; how many and what value of furnaces have been exported to Iran in each year; what undertakings were sought about end-use; and what end-use monitoring has been undertaken.
