Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, how many licence applications for the export of maraging steels to Iran have been made in each year since 1997; how many applications have been granted; how much and what value of maraging steels have been exported to Iran in each year; what undertakings were sought about end-use; and what end-use monitoring has been undertaken. - Includes fact that will write and place a copy of letter in Library.

Answer: Mr. Berry: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, how many licence applications for the export of maraging steels to Iran have been made in each year since 1997; how many applications have been granted; how much and what value of maraging steels have been exported to Iran in each year; what undertakings were sought about end-use; and what end-use monitoring has been undertaken.
