Mr. Letwin: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs if she will make a statement on progress relating to the shellfish licensing system. [64385] Mr. Morley: [holding answer 27 June 2002]: We are committed to the introduction of a shellfish licensing scheme. Officials are currently considering the timing and format of such a scheme.
