Question: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many (a) attempted suicides and (b) suicides there were in prisons in England and Wales in each of the last 20 years; and what percentage of the prison population this represents; how many (a) attempted suicides and (b) suicides there were in each prison in the UK in the last 20 years; and what percentage of the prison population in each prison this represents.
