To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, what plans he has to protect the traditional grasslands and meadows along the banks of salmon rivers, with particular reference to those of the River Wye candidate special area of conservation; and if he will make a statement; which national authority is responsible for regulating agricultural activities in respect of spring salmon fishing within the catchment of the River Wye candidate special area of conservation; and if he will make a statement. - Inc ref to Soil Code, EU Directive on environmental impact assessment.
