Mr. Gardiner: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if she will confine GMT to the period between the last Sunday in November and the last Sunday in January. [45345] Alan Johnson: There are no plans to reduce the period of GMT. The start and end dates of summer time are harmonised across EC member states through a European directive.
