Question: To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Department for Constitutional Affairs, how many courthouses have been constructed by means of a Private Finance Initiative since 1997. (Failed OPQ)

Answer: Bob Russell: To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Department for Constitutional Affairs how many courthouses have been constructed by means of a private finance initiative since 1997. [140741] Mr. Leslie: There have been six magistrates courts constructed by means of public-private partnerships since 1997. Hull Beverly Bridlington Hereford Worcester Kidderminster. A further three magistrates courthouses are currently being constructed by means of the PPP. These are: City of Manchester Derby Chesterfield.
