To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, what sums have been paid to (a) BT and (b) NTL to assist in the roll out of broadband services, broken down by (a) year and (b) region. - Will write.

John Thurso: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what sums have been paid to (a) BT and (b) NTL to assist in the roll out of broadband services, broken down by (a) year and (b) region. [138896] Mr. Timms: I have not been able to answer this question before Prorogation. I will write to the hon. Member and place a copy in the Libraries of the House.
