Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many breaches of security have taken place at UK ports in each year since 1997, broken down by (a) region, (b) port and (c) type of breach. - Inc fact that not available in the form requested and not practice to disclose such security details.

Answer: John Thurso: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many breaches of security have taken place at UK ports in each year since 1997, broken down by (a) region, (b) port and (c) type of breach. [139801] Mr. Jamieson: While inspectors do actively respond to notifications of security breaches or incidents the type of information is not available in the form requested and in any event it is not the practice to disclose such security details.
