Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what plans he has to make additional resources available to the International Atomic Energy Agency to support its increased safeguards burden in Iran following the agreement concluded in Tehran on 21st October.
Answer

Llew Smith: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has to make additional resources available to the International Atomic Energy Agency to support its increased safeguards burden in Iran following the agreement concluded in Tehran on 21 October. [134572] Mr. MacShane: The United Kingdom supported a successful call for additional resources for the IAEA's activities at the board of Governors' meeting earlier this year. We believe that, with these additional resources, the IAEA will be able to undertake all of the safeguards tasks with which they are mandated, including work in Iran.
