Answer: Sandra Gidley: To ask the Secretary of State for Health what the average waiting time for hearing assessments for (a) patients under 60 and (b) patients over 60, broken down by primary care trust, was in the last 12 months for which figures are available. [138157] Dr. Ladyman: This information is not collected centrally. We have invested £94 million over two years, which will be used to make digital hearing aids available across England by April 2005.
