Bob Russell: To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport if she will require local authorities with Roman town walls to provide her with (a) an audit of their condition, (b) a statement of works required to repair them and (c) an estimate of the cost of repairs. [112492] Dr. Howells: My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has no plans to require local authorities to provide her with this information. In the case of scheduled ancient monuments, this is a matter for discussion with English Heritage.
