Further to the statement by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport on 1 November 2004 426 c9 that the Mayor of London had specified that the level of council tax that Londoners will pay towards the 2012 London Olympic Games is 38p a week, whether, irrespective of cost overruns, this figure will remain the maximum amount charged to Londoners in all circumstances; and over how many years the levy will be made.
