Mr. Baker: To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will list the members of the Committee on Safety of Medicines who have, in each year from 1987 to date, declared outside interests in (a) SmithKline Beecham, (b) SmithKline and French laboratories, (c) Merck Sharpe and Dohme, (d) Pasteur Merieux and (e) the Wellcome Foundation. [112835] Ms Stuart: This information is published annually in the "Medicines Act 1968 Advisory Bodies--Annual Reports" copies of which, dating back to 1987, are available in the Library, The reports include lists of interests in the pharmaceutical industry declared by each committee member. The 1999 report, which is due to be published in July this year, will include the entries in the table relating to members of the Committee on Safety of Medicines (CSM) (this information is correct as at 6 March 2000). In addition, Professor J. H.
