Mr. Evans: To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will make a statement on the availability of DIY genetic tests. [97516] Ms Blears: In February 2002, Health and Science Ministers asked the Human Genetics Commission to review the matter of genetic testing services supplied direct to the public. The Commission has publicly stated that they will make their formal recommendations to Ministers in the early spring.
