Mrs. Helen Clark: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what plans she has to consult on the creation of formal links between river basin management planning and land use planning during the process of implementing the Water Framework Directive. [95670] Mr. Morley: The relationship between the Water Framework Directive and the planning system was one of the issues on which respondents were invited to give their views in the recent second consultation exercise on implementation of the directive and will be discussed in Defra's water stakeholder group.
