Mr. Evans: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs which UK rivers or lakes are tested for contamination with mercury; and what the results of these surveys were in the last year for which information is available. [97521] Mr. Morley: This information is not held centrally and will have to be collated by the Environment Agency. The Agency has advised that it should be able to provide a comprehensive answer during March. I will arrange for the information to be placed in the Library of the House, and will notify the hon.
