To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many drug treatment and testing orders have been made under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

Mr. Maclean: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many drug treatment and testing orders have been made under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998. [77014] Mr. George Howarth: Thirty drug treatment and testing orders had been made in the Crown Court and magistrates courts in the pilot areas (Croydon, Gloucestershire and Liverpool) as at 12 March 1999.
