Northern Ireland Office

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, what further progress has been made towards the implementation of outstanding elements of the Good Friday Agreement.
Answer

Mr. McGrady: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what further progress has been made towards the implementation of outstanding elements of the Good Friday Agreement. [89178] Mr. Paul Murphy: Substantial progress has been made in implementing the Agreement, but the restoration of the devolved institutions depends on the restoration of public trust in the commitment of participants to exclusively peaceful means and to stable inclusive institutions. If that can be achieved then, as my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister has explained, we can implement the rest of the Agreement in its entirety together.
