Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will make a statement on the Middle East peace process. (Failed OPQ).

Answer: Mr. Ross: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the middle east peace process. [204256] Mr. Rammell: We have an opportunity to make progress on the middle east peace process. Several factors contribute to this: Israel's disengagement plan, elections in the Palestinian authority, and President Bush's commitment to use America's political capital to achieve progress. The middle east peace process is one of our highest foreign policy priorities. We will work with the parties and our international partners to seize this opportunity for progress.
