To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what assessment his Department has made of (a) the commercial operations of the Hawiye clan in Somalia since 1997 and (b) the Hawiye clan's contribution to and role in the situation in Somalia; and if he will make a statement.
