To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what discussions her Department has had with HM Treasury on (a) the case for a windfall tax on excessive profits made by oil and gas producers and (b) the use of revenues from such a tax to fund a domestic energy efficiency programme; and if she will make a statement. - It has not proved possible to respond before Prorogation.
