To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what proportion of prisoners who entered drug rehabilitation programmes in the last 12 months for which figures are available went on to complete those programmes; and what proportion failed to complete; what proportion of prisoners who were given detoxification in the last 12 months for which figures are available entered one of the Prison Service's drug rehabilitation programmes. - No figures. It has not proved possible to respond to the rt hon Member in the time available before Prorogation.

Mr. Oaten: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) what proportion of prisoners who entered drug rehabilitation programmes in the last 12 months for which figures are available went on to complete those programmes; and what proportion failed to complete; [198913] (2) what proportion of prisoners who were given detoxification in the last 12 months for which figures are available entered one of the Prison Service's drug rehabilitation programmes.
