Question: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether the Prison Service's review of the Counselling, Assessment, Referal, Advice and Throughcare Services (CARATS) for prisoners with drug misuse problems has been completed; and if he will make a statement.

A new CARAT Practice Manual, based on the review, is now in preparation and will be published on the Prison Service website (www. hmprisonservice.gov.uk).
