Answer: Gregory Barker: To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what proportion of China Capital Partners Ltd. CDC has owned in each year since 1999; and if he will list its other investors by (a) amount and (b) proportion since 1999. [193320] Hilary Benn: From 1999 to 2004, China Capital Partners Ltd. was owned 50 per cent. by CDC Group plc and 50 per cent. by Aviva plc. It is now owned 100 per cent. by Actis. The amount paid by Aviva for its investment in China Capital Partners is confidential to the parties involved.
